About me

My curiosity about technology started long before I knew what cloud computing or DevOps meant. As a child, I was fascinated by walkie-talkies and even tried making my own using empty cartons. Later, learning about Samuel Morse and Alexander Graham Bell made me curious about a simple question: how does technology connect people and systems?

That curiosity eventually led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and build a career spanning networking, infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps.

Today, I’m a Senior DevOps Engineer focused on designing, automating, securing, and operating cloud platforms, primarily on AWS.

Over the years, I’ve progressed from Linux and network operations to cloud engineering and large-scale AWS platform engineering. My experience includes multi-account AWS environments, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud governance, identity and access management, security, compliance automation, observability, and serverless architectures.

I’ve had the opportunity to design and deliver solutions around AWS Control Tower, CloudFormation and StackSets, AWS Config, IAM Identity Center, SCPs, IAM Roles Anywhere, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and CloudWatch. Some of these solutions operate across an environment of approximately 80 AWS accounts and six regions, where automation and standardization are essential.

What I enjoy most is taking a complex problem, understanding the requirements and constraints, evaluating the trade-offs, and turning it into a solution that is secure, scalable, reliable, and automated.

For me, cloud engineering and DevOps are not simply about knowing tools or AWS services. They are about understanding the problem first and using technology to make things simpler for the people who rely on the platform.

I also enjoy mentoring engineers, sharing what I learn, and staying curious about cloud architecture, automation, AI, and emerging technologies.

Technology has changed considerably since that first walkie-talkie caught my attention, but the curiosity behind it hasn’t.

I’m still fascinated by the same question: How can we use technology to build something better?
